Our client Loblaw Companies Ltd is the largest food distributer in Canada and operates throughout Atlantic Canada.  Their stores define community and retail throughout the region.  They are seeking a Store Manager to lead the growth and development of their business, colleagues, and the community at large within Metro Halifax

To be considered for this opportunity, we will be looking for your experience managing a diverse and fast paced retail business.  Flowing from that, you will be able to demonstrate your success meeting customer service standards and managing the financial, personnel, inventory and expenses of your store, in line with corporate priorities.  As a manager or assistant manager, you are visible to your staff and your customers, yet manage priorities on a timely basis.  You have exceptional organizational and execution skills and you lead by example, hard work and exemplary adherence to service standards.

You will bring a minimum of five years experience in food retail or aligned retail management.  You have strong business acumen, combined with creativity and competitiveness.  You are community minded and ensure that your store is part of the fabric of the community in which you live and work.
